You will discover our beautiful Appalachian mountains on a ride with a docile and well-trained horse.

First, each client is matched with a horse based on their size and experience. You will have the chance to create a bond of trust by brushing him. Once everyone has their helmets, we leave the stable to go to the paddock. Once on your horse and the stirrups adjusted, we give you a little training on riding techniques. The fenced riding arena is the ideal place for everyone to test their new riding skills.

 

After this initiation, we set off for a walk along our magnificent country trails. Halfway, we stop at the top of the mountain to admire the superb view of the mountains and the lac William. We end the activity by thanking our horse for the beautiful ride.

 

If you want to spend more time with a horse, we also offer 2-hour or even full-day activities. Also consider our other activities with the alpacas, dogs and other animals on our educational farm.

 

Other remarks

• The activity takes place all year round and at all temperatures.

• Only children aged 12 and over are accepted. For young children, book our introductory horse riding activity.

• The ride is mostly done at a walking pace, with a little trotting if possible, but generally no galloping.
