You will begin your equestrian experience with a visit to our large herd of 40 horses where you will have the chance to approach them and observe them in their natural environment while learning interesting things about them.

Then, each client is matched with a horse based on their size and experience. You will lead your horse on foot to the stable then you will have the opportunity to create a bond of trust with him by brushing him and equipping him with his saddle.

Once everyone has their helmets and properly prepared their horses, we leave the stable to go to the paddock. Once on your horse and the stirrups adjusted, we give you a little training on riding techniques. The fenced riding arena is the ideal place for everyone to test their new riding skills.

After this initiation, we go for a walk on our magnificent mountain trails with a splendid view of the Appalachians mountains and the Lac William. Halfway we stop at the top of the mountain to take photos and enjoy the beautiful view. We end the activity by thanking our horse for the beautiful ride.

At the end, you are invited to stay longer to visit our store as well as to enjoy the atmosphere and our picnic area.

Other remarks

• The activity takes place all year round and at all temperatures.

• Only children aged 12 and over are accepted. For young children, book our introductory horse riding activity.

• The hike is mostly done at a walking pace, with a little trotting if possible, but generally no galloping.
