Equestrian Immersion with Trail Ride in the Appalachians
Discover the magnificent landscapes of the Quebec Appalachians, accompanied by a calm horse, perfectly suited to beginners.
Upon arrival, you will be paired with a horse based on your size and experience. You will then have the opportunity to build trust by brushing your horse, all in a respectful approach based on ethological horsemanship. Once the helmets are fitted, the group heads to the riding arena where a short introduction to the basics of horsemanship is offered. You will learn how to steer your horse and interact with it. The fenced arena allows everyone to familiarize themselves safely before setting off on their adventure.
We then take the trail through our hayfields and magnificent maple forests, surrounded by a peaceful and verdant setting. Halfway through the hike, we'll stop at the summit to offer you a moment of rest and a breathtaking view of the valley and Lake William—an ideal time to admire the scenery and capture unforgettable memories 📸. Finally, we'll return to the stables where we conclude the activity by thanking our horse for this wonderful ride.
The respect and well-being of the animals are at the heart of our mission. Each activity is designed to offer them comfort, serenity, and balance.
Your visit is not just an experience: it directly contributes to the well-being of the residents of our farm animal sanctuary. In fact, all profits generated by our activities are dedicated to their care, feeding, and maintaining their living spaces
